On November 21, 2019, the Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics (ADAI) team and the Portuguese Meteorological Institute (IPMA) met for a visit to Serra da Lousã, to the Candal and Trevim village, in order to define the location for the installation of two weather stations, one in each place.
The data from these stations will be used in Task 2 of the FireStorm project, in order to improve the understanding of changes in the vertical temperature profile, humidity and wind in the mountainous areas.
Besides the ADAI and IPMA team, were collaborate in the definition of the places, Mr. Councilman of the Lousã, Mrs. President of the Parish Council of the Lousã and Vilarinho, Mr. President of the Residents Commission of the Candal, Mr. Responsible for the Baldios and a resident of the Candal.
